MADHU NALLA
Madhu is our Production Operator in Scoresby
In his own words: “At Davey, every step of my career has brought something new to learn and a team to learn it with.”
Madhu began his journey at Davey New Zealand as an Assembly Technician in 2005, later joining with Davey Water Products in Scoresby, Australia in August 2008 as a Production Operator. Over the past 20 years, he has progressed in his career through hands-on experience, hard work, and a passion for continuous learning.
He first started with UV filtration unit assembly and packaged water treatment units in DWS. Over time, he developed skills in product testing, electrical wiring, and commercial chlorinator assembly, steadily building his technical capabilities and broadening his understanding of the production process.
In September 2024, Madhu was promoted to Production Team Leader, where he leads and manages teams across the Interpump, Torrium, Spa and Dynajet stations – a position that remains his primary role at Davey. His drive to keep learning never stopped. In April 2025, Madhu joined the Research and Development team as a Laboratory Technician. In this secondment role, he works on testing parameters that support product development, learning through direct application and contributing to innovation at Davey.
Madhu admits that his progression hasn’t always been easy, but the challenges have only made him stronger. He values the constant stream of knowledge and new skills that each role has brought. He values the opportunity to constantly learn and appreciates being part of a workplace where leaders actively support career development and create space for new opportunities.
Outside of work, Madhu finds joy in spending time outdoors, and going on nature walks and cycling – often with his daughter. Exploring new places and making memories is his favourite way to unwind and connect.
What stands out most to him is the way Davey genuinely prioritises the health, safety, and wellbeing of its people. It’s one of the many reasons he’s proud to have built his career at Davey Water Products.
