ANNETTE DOOLAN
Annette is our Customer Support Representative in Scoresby
In her own words:
My main role is to process the orders that come into Davey via the Sales Helpdesk and EDI. My secondary role is to answer the phones that come in externally from Dealers and end users, and also internal calls from a large variety of other Davey areas/teams/hubs. We take the majority of the calls in Victoria as other states do not have a designated CSC team as such. Calls vary from finding prices and codes, ETA’s finding the con note and tracking it, finding goods that haven’t arrived, trouble shooting and fault finding using our technical/service team as back up, along with advising on the correct product for the job.
I started at Davey in 2008 and believe the CSC play a vital role in interfacing between the Dealers/end users and Davey. I have established rapport and work relationships with many people Australia wide whom I have never met. Sometimes you can even recognise their voices.
A little extra something about me: I love going camping with my family and 2 year old kelpie Lucy.
RON GATES
Ron is our Product Engineer at Davey in Scoresby
In his own words:
Part of the Davey team since 1978, I’m responsible for the manufacturing bill of materials and the internal documentation change communications throughout the organisation. This has included the Engineering drawings from development to final design, to tooling and the approvals of the final sample parts. From the old cast iron design to the new WiFi products. From drawing boards and pencils to computer generated design, I have worked very closely with all departments over the years nationally and internationally. I’ve seen the Davey family grow from young people to grandparents, I’ve seen Davey suppliers grow with our company to second and third generations. Our customers have stuck by us in the good and the not so good times. This has been a journey as well as a lifelong career, so proud to say I work at Davey and part of the Davey family.
A little extra something about me: In my spare time I walk, I have a passion for travelling to remote places of interest, off the beaten track. Climbing the Himalayas was one of my favourites!
