New Davey CEO Gets Out and About

Six weeks into her new role at Davey, CEO Valentina Tripp says she’s received a warm welcome from everyone as she’s been getting around the traps meeting the Davey team and customers.

“A big thank you to everyone we’ve visited who has been generous with their time and sharing their stories with us,” she says. “There is certainly a lot of passion and experience within Davey and throughout the Dealer network and I love the ‘can do’ attitude of our people. I look forward to meeting everyone over time.”

With a background in the food industry, most recently with Murray River Organics, and also as the Australian representative on the APEC Policy Partnership on Food Security, Valentina is passionate about global issues affecting food quality and supply.  She says the reason she joined Davey was the opportunity to think about the critical role of water in society, and the part that Davey will play in that.

“We have an enormous opportunity to think about water holistically and in a way that helps address some of the global issues of availability, movement and quality.  We have got some amazing people and capabilities at Davey and I believe we’ll figure out how to do this together and lock in the potential of what is, and will continue to be, a great Australian success story.”

Valentina will be visiting Davey regional offices and Master Dealers in South Australia and Western Australia, and making a trip across the Tasman to meet with the Davey team and Master Dealers in New Zealand.
