The Challenge:
As a newly developed brewery and hospitality venue in Western Australia’s Guilderton/Moore River region, the venue needed a water supply system that could rise to the demands of modern brewing. With bore water as the main source, the challenge was multifaceted to ensure water quality, maintain consistent pressure, and support a range of high-use operations including brewing, kitchen, bar, cleaning, and amenities.
Located in a semi-regional area with limited rainfall, the site faced:
- Groundwater requiring treatment and filtration
- High levels of hardness requiring softening
- Demand for reliable pressure across multiple outlets
- Limited ability to access town water infrastructure

Our Solution
Davey Water Products and Think Water Wanneroo delivered an end to end solution with one clear priority: make the water system brewery-tough, future-ready, and bulletproof under pressure.
At the core of the installation is the Davey DynaDrive Pro DD160-19, an all-in-one pressure system with variable speed drive to ensure consistent pressure with multiple taps. With stainless steel impellers, built-in air purging, it was engineered to thrive in demanding, high-use environments.
Supporting Davey components included:
- DPS bore pump, feeding water into three storage tanks
- Multi-stage filtration (down to 1 micron)
- Water softener 2060SOD to manage hardness levels
- UV151 High Output UV disinfection unit for final water safety
With the DynaDrive Pro’s adjustable pressure settings, quiet operation, and integrated controller, the brewery gained not just pressure – but control, efficiency, and peace of mind.
Implementation and Results
