By using this App you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as set out below and as described in our Privacy Policy. You are required to register your full name, email address, address (“User Data”) and set a password in order to use the App. You do not have to give us your personal information, however, if you choose not to, we cannot register you to use the App (which will limit your ability to fully utilise Lifeguard through the App) or communicate to you any Device Data generated by Lifeguard. The User Data and Device Data generated by Lifeguard will be stored by Davey and its IT service providers to the extent necessary for the processing purposes set out below and for at least the minimum period legally required, generally period of seven (7) years. Davey will access and use the User Data and Device Data for the following purposes of:
- Providing you with a service which allows you to utilise and remotely monitor Lifeguard;
- Managing any warranty or product liability claims associated with the Lifeguard which is linked to the App;
- Research and development (in a de-identified format).
Davey may disclose this information to IT service providers and hosting providers involved in the operation of the App including Amazon Web Services. These IT service providers are entitled to use this information solely for the purpose of operating the App and keeping a log of the User Data and Device Data generated.
Where you have expressly given your consent Davey will also use the User Data and Device Data to communicate with you about the service and support, proper use and maintenance of Lifeguard and to send you personalised advertising about other Davey products or products related to Lifeguard (“marketing communications”). We also share your information with third parties for these purposes, including Davey dealers and distributors in the country of purchase of Lifeguard and/or third party swimming pool service providers.
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information which we collect, use or disclose is relevant, accurate, complete and up-to-date. Please ensure that you update any changes to your email address using the App, and inform us by email (below) of any other changes.
