A customer in Northern NSW, within an hour’s drive from Davey Master Dealer Lanson Trading, required a high-capacity pumping solution for river water. The key requirements were:
- Largest size available, limited only by water license
- 6-inch discharge capability
- Minimum duty point of 500m³/hr @ 50m
- Mobile unit for use in flood zones
- Diesel-powered for on-site operation
- Significantly higher performance than their previous
competitor pumpset
The Solution
Lanson Trading designed and engineered a complete, custom-built, OEM solution utilising a Davey ISOSpec CF Pump.
- Davey CF ISO Pumpset: 200×150-315 model
- Powered by a John Deere 404T turbo charged 125hp engine
Key features of the OEM solution:
- High Capacity: Capable of moving 10 times more water than the previous pumpset
- Robust Construction: Built to withstand challenging river and flood zone conditions
- Reliability: Combination of Davey’s high-quality ISO pump and John Deere’s reputable engine
- Custom-Designed: Tailored to meet the specific high-flow, high-head requirements
Implementation
The customer has reported extremely high satisfaction with the OEM solution, including the Davey ISOSpec Pump.
Exceptional Performance: The new pumpset is moving 10 times the water volume compared to the previous competitor unit
Build Quality: The customer is very impressed with the quality of construction
Meets Specifications: Successfully achieves the required duty point of 500m³/hr @ 50m
